Springbok Lodge and Spa
Nambiti | Ladysmith
Springbok Lodge is situated in the Nambiti Private Game Reserve, a conservancy offering 20000 acres of pristine, malaria-free bushveld. The reserve is home to the Big Five, as well as cheetah, hippo and over 30 species of plains game. Nature lovers will enjoy the area’s biodiversity, with Thornveld and majestic Acacia trees complementing extensive grasslands which mirror the plains of Central Africa. The abundant natural water system, with perennial rivers and the beautiful waterfall and cascades on the Sundays River, makes for a unique sanctuary, attracting several rare bird species and an enviable array of raptors and vultures. Feast your senses on the magnificent sights, sounds and smells of this untouched African bush.
With every dawn, renew your bond with nature as you embark on a safari with your experienced and knowledgeable field guides.
We offer boma dinners, bush breakfasts and fly fishing(seasonal). If you are looking for some pampering we have two massage therapists who offer a variety of relaxing massage treatments, reflexology, manicures, pedicures etc.. in the privacy of your luxury tent, or if the weather allows, out on your private deck!
Our lodge is family friendly – we have a trampoline, a full play area and a rock pool. Children under 4yrs stay & eat for free. Children 4 – 13yrs pay 50%.
The Nambiti Private Game Reserve is located in KZN. The Reserve is located 25 km’s east of Ladysmith and is only, 3½ hours from King Shaka Airport in Durban, 4½ hours from OR Tambo Airport in Johannesburg and just 90 minutes from the Drakensberg attractions
Feedback from a happy guest – January 2021
Hi Debbie, we are back. A wonderful and prosperous New Year to You and the BCS team.
What a wonderful experience. Thank you so much for sticking with me through this, it was a memorable trip and really what I needed just to chill out.
I have written a review on Trip Advisor, just to let you know that it is a special place. Just so down to earth and real, nothing over the top and you could be who you wanted to be.
All worked out wonderfully and we couldn’t have planned it better.
Thanks so much.
Kind Regards, Peter Bode
