Zululand Safari Lodge boasts plenty of the natural wonders that are home to Ubizane. The lodge’s heritage spans over 40 years with rolling lawns full of the famous African aloes and scented thorn trees, which surround the magnificent lodge and create a breathtaking environment for all who visit.

The giraffes and impala manoeuvre freely through the Reserve, the mischievous monkey swing from the branches. The watering hole is nestled under the majestic marula tree. You can watch giraffe, zebra nyala, impala an kudu make this their daily stop. The lighting placed around the watering hole allow for night time watching.

With rondavel-inspired accommodation ranging from 2 sleepers to big family sleepers, there is plenty of space for everyone at the Lodge. All the rondavels have been beautifully fitted with the trademark glass panelled sliding doors which allow you an extended view of the Reserve and the chance to glimpse some of the wildlife wandering around.

Zululand Safari Lodge offers traditional, African accommodation with panoramic views of the valley and hills of Ubizane Wildlife Reserve. Central Hluhluwe is 7.5 km away.

The air-conditioned rooms are contained in thatched houses. Each has its own private patio and a well-equipped kitchen.

The Safari Lodge offers guided walks through the wildlife reserve, as well as game drives. Guests can also relax by the outdoor pool and children can have fun at the playground.

Traditional meals are enjoyed around the campfire and there is also a restaurant for indoor dining. The hotel’s bar offers refreshing drinks and light snacks.
